Five days before the release of Hollywood's version of
2012, Denver hosts a panel of experts,psychics and astrologers to present what they believe is a more believable preview of the year that
everyone's talking about.
"2012: The Real Story, " the keynote discussion at the upcoming Athena Festival, will reference historical prophecies, astrological forecasts, psychic predictions and scientific data to present a picture of what 2012 might hold in store for the world, and Colorado in particular.
The event is the program highlight of Athena Festival 12, taking place Sunday, November 8 at the Ramada Plaza Convention Center, I-25 at 120th in Northglenn. Festival hours are 10am - 5pm, with the 2012 keynote presentation taking center stage from 1 - 2pm. The Athena Festival also includes a full line-up of workshops, entertainment, tarot readings, art and great alternative shopping from 80 vendors!
The Athena Festival emphasizes creativity, spiritual sciences, women's issues, healing arts, relationships, psychology, and mysticism. Presenters from around the region will be speaking and entertaining the crowd. A cornerstone of The Athena Festival is the Athena Market, where vendors and readers will be offering unique items including clothes, jewelry, on-site massage, psychic consultation, rare books, artwork, stones, aura photography and more.
The Athena Festival is presented by Dana Cain Events, Denver, in partnership with Isis Books in Englewood and BellaSpark Productions in Fort Collins.
