Husband Warren three 3 children. Oldest is a sophomore at UNC Greeley, have a daughter that is a junior at Ranum High school and a son who is in 8th grade at Shaw Heights Middle School
What I do:
Audit Analyst for the National Potato Promotion Board
My favorite place in town to hang out:
Playing pool with my husband at either Woody's or Fox & Hound
What I like most about living here:
The weather in Colorado and the scenery.
My interests and hobbies:
Reading novels, scrapbooking, crotcheting and sewing; shopping!
What is my favorite thing to cook:
Homemade cinnamon rolls and pumpkin pie
People who inspired me (and how):
Ellenor Roosevelt, Helen Keller & Anne Sullivan, others throughout history that have demonstrated unfailing hope and persistence towards what is good and right for humanity.
How I have contributed to the community:
10 years of service as a parent volunteer in PTA's and other School & Community Committees; Propronent of Public and Parent involvement in education; 4 years of experience as a current School Board Director
What are the biggest issues facing yourdistrict now:
The need to improve our levels of Academic Achievement, graduation rates and how to encourage parent participation and community partnerships in the re-invention of our district. We have begun a process of identifying facilities needs and how that will be addressed through a comprehensive district facilities plan over the long term. How to meet all of these needs and remain fiscally sound.
