My name: Marge Rinaldi

Age: 59

My family: Husband, Emil; Son, Patrick

What I do: I am a retired educator currently volunteering on the Adams 50 School Board.

My favorite place in town to hang out: Running or biking the Big Dry Creek trail

What I like most about living here: The people and the beautiful views on a clear day

My interests and hobbies: Pottery, book club, skiing, biking

What is my favorite thing to cook: Grilled salmon with roasted vegetables

People who inspired me (and how): My Dad had so many good qualities that I admire. He was honest, ethical, clever, kind, gentle, and caring.

How I have contributed to the community: I taught for 26 years in the Mapleton School District. Currently, I represent the Adams 50 School Board at state level meetings like the Early Childhood Task Force and CO-CHE (Colorado Coalition for Hispanic Education).

What are the biggest issues facing your city (district) now: Student achievement and the dropout rate
