Improvements coming to 128th Avenue
Contributed by: YourHub.com on 2/5/2008

According to the City of Westminster Web Site, the city council has awarded a construction contract to Jalisco International for widening the south side of 128th Avenue between Delaware Street and Interstate 25.

The $774,343 contract includes a combination drainage/pedestrian concrete box culvert under 128th for connecting the future Tanglewood Creek Trail on the north and south sides of 128th. The widening project will be constructed concurrent with the Colorado Department of Transportation project to replace the 128th Avenue bridge over I-25, which is scheduled for completion in August 2008.
