The Regional Transportation District’s (RTD) RunRide will once again provide service to participants in the annual Bolder Boulder 10-kilometer race on Memorial Day, May 30.
As many as 50,000 runners, joggers, walkers, and wheelchair racers are expected to participate in the race. By providing both regional and local RunRide bus service RTD’s RunRide will allow those joining the festivities to focus on the race itself instead of the race to find parking. Regional service will be available from nine Park-n-Rides: Broomfield, Longmont (at Twin Peaks Mall), Niwot, Arapahoe, Cold Spring, I-25/Broadway, Littleton/Mineral, Nine Mile and Westminster Center East, as well as RTD’s Market Street Station.
Regional RunRide buses to the race will operate every five to 30 minutes beginning at approximately 4:55 a.m. and will provide local Park-n-Ride service to the race beginning at approximately 6:25 a.m. Longmont service, from Twin Peaks Mall (Applebee’s), to the race will begin at approximately 6 a.m., and Niwot park-n-Ride service to the race will start at approximately 6:05 a.m. Regional roundtrip cash fare is $6, paid upon boarding to go to the race.
Boulder's Local RunRide to the race starts at Table Mesa Park-n-Ride at approximately 5:49 a.m. and at the intersection of Baseline/Mohawk at approximately 6 a.m., and then travels down Broadway to Iris Avenue to the runners' drop-off point at the Diagonal and 30th Street. Local bus service runs approximately every one to five minutes to the race leaving as the buses fill up after the race. Roundtrip cash fare for the local RunRide service is $3, paid as you board to go to the race.
All return service will be provided until approximately 1:30 p.m. Exact change is required for all RunRide fares. No passes, tickets or coupons will be accepted for this special service.
