Sweet Rockies suite
Contributed by: Mark Simon on 6/28/2007

I have been a baseball fan since my Dad took me to Tiger Stadium back in the early sixties. The 1st player I remember getting my attention was the power hitting, Rocky Colavito. When the Tigers won the series in 68 , I was 11. I made a scrape book that year with newspaper clippings and photos. I still have it, as well as programs and yearbooks dating back to 1967.

When we moved to Denver in 1971 I really missed having a home team to root for.

I went to a few minor league games to get my Baseball fix , and still followed my Tigers , the best I could. When we finally got a team here in Denver I was with them every step of the way, from that 1st expansion draft right up to opening day at Mile High in 1993. When Coors opened I was there for the 1st exhibition game against the Brewers. I sat in the top row of the rock pile and looked at this awesome park in amazement,

I have many friends and associates that I talk baseball with on a regular basis. I would love to be able to take them all to a game together. Please choose me to get that sweet suite at Coors Field. I would truly, truly be so grateful to have that opportunity.
