Leukemia can't strike out Kaden
Contributed by: Megan Madsen on 8/5/2007

My family and friends deserve to watch the Rockies from a suite in Coors Field because we are all huge Rockies fans and watching and going to the games has given my two year old son so much joy during his battle with leukemia.

My son has attended every opening day and this year even made it to the game after a session of chemo. This year he also brought along his baby sister. This has been a long and at times difficult year. After his diagnosis in January he has had weekly and at times more treatments.

Our friends and family have gone out of their way to be supportive. They have done fundraisers, donated food, organized blood drives and stood by our sides. Kaden is rounding the plate on his most intensive treatment and as a way to celebrate his recovery and thank our friends we would love to win the Rockies suite. My husband and I are both public school teachers who try and attend as many Rockies games as we can during the summer.

This summer it has been hard to make it to all the games we would like with Kaden's treatments and growing medical bills. We would all love and appreciate a day at the ball park as way to celebrate thebattle Kadenis winning!!
