I LOVE THE COLORADO ROCKIES!!
From the first day I can ever remember watching a Rockies game, I have been the most dedicated fan. Through the valleys and, obviously, the most recent mountain top. The Rockies are an essential part of my everyday from Spring Training through the entire season; I love the Rockies so much I often schedule my day's events according to when the Rockies play that day. I watch the Rockies every single day that I can (and that is everyday!) I have to admit that my love of the Rockies for so long finally reached the ultimate last season with the tremendous, unheard of stretch run to the postseason! I live and die on every pitch during a Rockies game, but never was it so exciting!! THE WORM HAD FINALLY TURNED!! I will keep the images of Helton's walk-off against the Dodgers during the streak all the way to witnessing, first-person, Holliday's head first slide to upend the Padres and send my beloved team to the playoffs forever!! I am constantly thinking about the Rockies and know there schedule for atleast the next week at all times. I love the Rockies so much that when the final run last year ended in the World Series, I felt so emotionally attached that I felt like I was apart of the team and just lost. I had that same feeling in my stomach as much of the players probably did. I will finish with my most recent example of unconditional, unending love and passion for the Rockies... I am a college student up at CSU, and last Thursday (April 17th) I watched the Rockies/Padres 22 inning marathon until the bitter end. The game started at 8:05 and did not finish until 2:20 in the morning. It was a great outcome and I was thrilled the Rockies won. Nothing was keeping me up other than my love for those Rocks and I still went to my 9 a.m. class that morning along with flying to Dallas that afternoon for a wedding! I will proclaim that I love the Rockies more than the majority and maybe more than anyone!!
GO ROCKIES!!!
