Mountain Range's Connor Smith spread out seven hits over seven innings for the shutout as the Mustangs (4-0) defeated Erie 2-0 on March 20 at Erie High School.

The Mustangs scored two runs in the first off Erie's Cody Fulton, who also went all seven innings in allowing only a single earned run.

The Tigers (3-3) host Strasburg on March 25 before visiting University at 11 a.m. March 29.

The Mustangs visit Platte Valley at 11 a.m. March 22 before hosting Skyline League opponent Hinkley at 3:30 p.m. March 27.
