Jefferson County Open Space Park Rangers and Naturalists invite 4-10 year old youth accompanied by an adult to become certified Open Space Junior Rangers. Junior Rangers will explore wildlife habitat, be challenged on an obstacle course and learn about stewardship of our natural world. Registration is just a phone call away to the Lookout Mountain Nature Center at 720-497-7600. Everyone should be prepared for outdoor activities with water, hat, sunscreen, as well as wearing sturdy shoes such as sneakers or hiking boots. Youngsters can complete the activities in approximately 90 minutes with the first sessions beginning at 10:00 a.m. and the final session concluding by 1:00 p.m. (11:30 a.m. start)
