Visit China or Mexico with Rotary
Contributed by: Michael Hayes on 5/7/2006

Between now and July 7, Rotary clubs in the area will be accepting applications from young professionals interested in spending four to five weeks in Shanghai, China or Mante, Mexico next year. Travel expenses are paid by Rotary and stays in Shanghoi or Mante are with Rotarians there so the cost is minimal.

The visit is under the auspices of Rotary's Group Study Exchange program. We will send a team of four non-Rotarains to Shanghai and one to Mante and we will host similar teams from the two cities in Colorado next year.

Basic qualifications for team members are that they are professionals between the ages of 25 and 40 and are not Rotarians. The trip is an incredible learning experience as team members are exposed to vocations, culture, and history, plus they have the opportunity for direct contact with their Rotary hosts in the country visited. It also is an intense experience with high demands on the energy of team members.

Those interested in such an opportunity should call John Inman with the Westminster 7:10 Rotary Club at 303-421-7885.
