Today, I decided that every Wednesday is going to be "Politics Wednesday" here at YourHub.com. I'll troll all of our Web sites to find politically-motivated stories and blogs and put them here for everyone to read and agree or disagree with.
I can't put my personal political beliefs on this blog, because:
1) Since I'm technically a "journalist," I'm supposed to be "objective," which means "neutral," just like Switzerland.
2) I believe in a system of government based on a reversal of the food chain and heavily influenced by the principles laid out in
James Brown's
Black Caesar album, which no one wants to hear about.
Anyway, here's this week's links, for your enjoyment:
Brad Bettag defends his
right to burn the U.S. flag.
Francis Miller argues, among some other things, that the New York Times might have finally gone
one step too far revealing the government's strategies in its coverage of the war on terror.
Another
Francis Miller piece covers "
How
Tommy
Tancredo wrecked the Republican Party."
Leonard Munizcomments on the Iraq war, the controversy over the 24 Iraqis killed in Haditha, the Bush administration and the Nazis.
Delmar Knudson offers
his take on nuclear proliferation and aim.
Burgeoning young political columnist
Amanda Thompson finds it
ridiculous that Colorado cities use sprinklers after it's just rained, or even worse, during a rainstorm.
