I LOST MY FOCUS; THUS OMEARA STOLE MY FOCUS
i HAD ONLY SEEN O'MEARA FORD DEALERSHIP ADVERTISED ON TV, SEEMED ALL-AMERICAN, FRIENDLY, FAIR, NEVER KNEW WHAT A SNAKEPIT IT WAS, BUT IS CERTAINLY FOUND OUT PERSONALLY. WHEN I WAS SEARCHING ONLINE HOW/WHERE TO TRADE IN OR REPAIR MY FOCUS, AN ARIZONA FORD REP POINTED ME TOWARDS O'MEARA, THUS THE STORY BEGINS...IS STILL IN PROCESS, BUT PEOPLE BE WARNED, O'MEARA FORD DEALERSHIP IS DECEITFUL, GREEDY, A VIPER PIT FOR EVEN THE EXPERIENCED.

I LOST MY FOCUS; THUS I TRULY LOST MY FORD FOCUS

I had the misadventure of being directed to O'Meara Ford Dealership on 104th near I-25. On this fateful day, I had taken my car back to O'Meara Ford Dealership, as their Service Dept had not completed the repairs after I paid them nearly $400, so they agreed to repair for only parts cost on my 2003 Ford Focus ZX3, so I was glad to be only out about $60 after the original nearly $400 and was looking forward to my auto being in good shape and dependable or I was going to upgrade soon with something like a Toyota. So while waiting for service to be complete on my focus, I went out for a stroll,, not feeling afraid of telling wolves to get lost, I ventured out to their Sales lotand made itclear I did not want a Ford product and I was just out for the stroll and killing time. I then went for a ride in a 2002 Honda Accord they interestingly had on their lot. They said it was worth $18,999, and it ran quite smoothly, was in pretty good shape, and I knew Hondas were a good car, so I LOST MY FOCUS, being probably in an unnecessary state of urgencyor false sense ofmental emergencywanting quick results & actions due to my mother being sick out of town and my Ford Focus had also powered down on me a few days earlier while I was on my way to work at Saint Anthony Central Hosptial. So, I was wanting a quick fix, and I went for the "deal" of trade in. However, this car was/is not at all worth $18,999, and I sadly discovered this after driving it home and looking on the net. I usually do my homework, so I am responsible for not being prepared with actual cost or would have said NO, NO, NO, you thugs in suits - BACK OFF! But I did not realize this much of an increase was even legal, and I have had very good experiences prior at MedVed and also at the former John Elway dealerships. This Honda auto, although nice, should have been sold for only $12-13,000, and I have printed all sorts of similar autos for salefrom Boulder to Colorado Springs, from 15 various dealerships, from Craigslist, from Denver Post, and NONE IN THE ENTIRE AREA were selling as high as what O'Meara asked for theirs. Also, they got me on the other end also, as my Focus, which they had just had me pay to maintain on my dime, was only traded in for 3.5, and they are being sold for up to 7.5 and I also have printed information on that . So, in essence, I was robbed of nearly $8,000, and they added insult ot injury by sending me away with fumes - yes, I ACTUALLY HAD TO STOP AND PUT GAS IN ON MY WAY HOME FROM THISSWINDLING DEALERSHIP AFTER SIGNING A CONTRACT FOR OVER $20,000! I was just familiarizing myself with the new dashboard, saw the yellow light, it said fuel, and I knew then that I must have been in a HUGE FOG TO ALLOW THEM TO TALK ME INTO SUCH. No class, no honesty, no care of anyone, they are totally profit oriented, and big profit. There was such a big discrepancy from what they should have asked (the ACTUAL VALUE) and what I paid, that my protective credit union manager called me to say it was way overpriced. He never had to do that before with any deals I have made. I took this Honda back to O'Meara Ford on the second day, and I told them I wanted to undo the deaL, and they told me they had already sold my Focus. The sales rep I spoke to (let's call him Ken) was so threatened, he was rude, he screamed at me in the showroom, he had no composure, spoke no words of help nor comfort, was NOT INTERESTED IN REPEAT BUSINESS OR REFERRAL BUSINESS THAT IS FOR SURE, and he said he could have done a lot more to help me if I was not complaining (unbelievable behavior, cause if he HAD DONE ANYTHING TO HELP ME I would not have been back nor complaining at all! DUH DUH DUH). i NEVER went back (except for routine service) to either MedVed or to John Elway (now Go Dealerships). I knew those dealerships made profit, but not ripoff, and there is a huge difference. I felt extremely VIOLATED, TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF, MISGUIDED, TOTALLY SCREWED BY O'MEARA FORD DEALERSHIP, and they are the kind who will laugh and joke as they spend your hard-earned money. BEWARE DEAR DENVER AND ALL THE BURBS - O'MEARA IS A PLACE TO STEER VERY FAR FROM. I did manage to get the sales mgr (Dewey) to take of $2,000 from the bottom end of the deal (prior to contract being completely finalized) but it did not hurt them at all, and I still paid $6,000 MORE THAN I SHOULD HAVE. Their kind of "business" should be illegal. I have written to the O'Meara Ford Family, have not heard anything yet. I will write to the top Ford Motor Company to say how even though I bought a Honda, I bought it from a "Ford Dealership" who is misrepresenting their name. Also, three days after I had this Honda, the brake warning light went off on the dash, (AND, IF THE HONDA HAD BEEN PROPERLY INSPECTED & SERVICED PRIOR TO RESALE DO YOU THINKTHE BRAKE WARNING LIGHT WOULD HAVE GONE OFF ON THE THIRD DAY I HAD IT????) So,I had to take it back, take my time, time from work, again, and have this taken care of - where they at O'Meara Service only topped the brake fluid (which could be disguising a pad or more extensive brake problem). They DO NOT CARE, they did not look deeper. THEY ARE A SMOKE AND MIRRORSOPERATION, AND THEPOOFY-HAIRED, SMOKEY-VOICED "BONNIE" WHO REPRESENTS THEM SHOULD REALIZE THAT THOUSANDS ARE LOST ON SUCH POOR DEALS, AND THEY WILL LOSE TONS OF EXCELLENT REFERRALS - AND HOW WOULD THEY LIKE IT IF WE AT THE HOSPITAL CHARGED THEM $20,000 FOR THEIR SCARY AND EMOTIONAL VISIT WHEN WECOULD HAVE CHARGEDTHEM $13,000?? I think those wolves would not be too happy either. But if you complain, oh my, then YOU the customer, the one whose paycheck is being rattled for the next five years - you are the bad guy for saying what a terrible experience you had. Well, fine, I will warn my colleagues, friends, neighbors, as this is jsut ridiculous, and we ALL DESERVE FAR BETTER!THEY ARE OUT FOR THE KILL. CAUTION TO ALL WHO ARE DIRECTED TO O'MEARA FORD, THEY ARE NOT FAIR, FRIENDLY, CLASSY, NOR HONEST. THERE ARE MUCH BETTER CHOICES IN OUR COMMUNITY. I saw another article in this paper from a woman who had bad O'Meara experience, so I wanted to support her and also add my own story. THEY ARE OUTRAGEOUSLY UNCONSCIOUS DEALERS. While the brake fluid was being topped on my Honda, this Dewey top Sales guy came out to check and he made the amazing comment (after I told him the price they charged was too high and guess I was lucky they did not burn down my house down too) and he unashamedly said with a snarl at least they left me something...THIS IS SUPPOSED TO BE A GREAT DEALERSHIP??? I hope they get their wolve jaws slapped very hard, as they are hurting and taking advantage as much and as often as they possibly can. BEWARE OF O'MEARA FORD! I do have all the paperwork to back me up, the sales slips, the comparison printouts, and I will soon take my Honda to a great more fair and professional certified Honda Dealership such as Import Auto Stuff where they will most likely take good care of my car and me. I expect FAIR TRADE, good money and fair exchange. The O'Meara Ford salesman (ken) also had the audacity to comment that I could AFFORD THIS DEAL - what a moronic statement. Being able to afford and being charged extremely over what it should be are two very different things. Their book VALUE DOES NOT MATCH what they ask for. PLEASE - - CAUTION OR SIMPLY AVOID THE O'MEARA FORD DEALERSHIP. IN ESSENCE - I GAVE MY FOCUS AWAY, THAT IS HOW BAD MY DEAL WAS...LOST MY FOCUS, AND DEFINITELY LOST MY FOCUS.
