Description: The Colorado Wind Ensemble, a volunteer community ensemble performing wind ensemble repertoire at a professional level, is holding auditions for regular section members in the trumpet and percussion sections, and for alternate players in the flute, oboe/English horn, bassoon, clarinet, saxophone, horn, trombone, euphonium, and tuba sections for concerts this season. We also have a frequent need for harp, piano, and string bass players for pieces this season.

Players with prior college wind ensemble experience or equivalent and a high regard for the repertoire are invited to audition. The CWE rehearses on Tuesday and some Thursday evenings at Grant Avenue Community Center, 216 S. Grant St. in Denver, and performs primarily on Saturday evenings at Littleton United Methodist Church, 5894 S. Datura St. in Littleton.
