Teachers get new styles to show CSAP spirit
Contributed by: Nancy Hahn on 2/26/2008

On Tuesday, Feb. 26, both teachers and students at Everitt Middle School in Wheat Ridge arrived early to show some style and spirit. Students styled the hair of teachers - any way they wanted! Teachers had their hair colored, curled, gelled and decorated. A very good time was had by all. There was so much laughter and fun.

Mrs. Nagrodsky, reading and social studies teacher, said, "I just don't know how serious I'll be able to be in class today." All the teachers looked spectacular in time for first period, and both teachers and students were able to get down to daily work - even looking like Dr. Seuss characters. Students have worked so hard in the firsttwo trimesters of the year and are prepared to show what they know on CSAP assessments. CSAP Spirit Week is a way for teachers to demonstrate their appreciation for students' efforts. On Wednesday, teachers treat the students by making pancakes for them.
