School and local business partner to go green
Contributed by: Matthew Cormier on 9/1/2008

Pennington Elementary School is partnering with Wheat Ridge business Ketelsen Campers to create a school recycling program. The school has wanted to go green, but didn't have the financial resources to make it a reality. As a community sponsor, Ketelsen Campers will pay for the monthly $26 recycling pick-up fee and students will work to create a recycling theme that the entire school and its community can embrace.
