In addition to free health screenings there will be fun activities for the whole family. The course will be set for distances beginning at 1/2 mile and go up to 3 miles. Walkers choose the distance they want to walk.
" We hope the community will come out on August 23rd and join us on our walk to celebrate health and wellness. Good mental health is so important to our wellbeing, as individuals and for our community overall", stated Jane Harris, Jefferson Center Wellness Director and Walk Chairwoman.
