The Colorado Theatre Guild (CTG) is pleased to announce the Summer/Fall Theatre Night Out subscription package. Held on the third Friday of every month, these events celebrate the wide variety of theatre programs throughout the region. Each participating theatre offers TNO subscribers drastically reduced ticket prices and a reception either before or after the show.
Due to the popularity of our Winter/Summer subscription, the Guild is offering several more theatre and show choices to expand subscription availability.
This 5-play subscription series features the choice among twelve shows for only $92. Rounding out the package is the opportunity to add the December production of "September Shoes" at the Denver Center Theatre Company for the price of only $30 per ticket - a savings of 30%.
For more information, please contact Gloria Shanstrom at 303-778-7724 or email Shanstrom@comcast.net or go online at

When four quarreling lovers flee into a magical forest, followed by a group of bumbling blue-collar workers intent on rehearsing their play there, they get tangled in the web of the King and Queen of the Fairies and nothing will ever be the same. A delightfully silly tale of love and mistaken identity that has tickled the funny bones of old and young alike for four centuries.

Puritans and overly sober people beware! In Twelfth Night, the lords of misrule are afoot in the form of fat Sir Toby Belch and his comrades. Carnival celebrations everywhere feature the figure of Folly-a gross character given to drink, food and fooling, who in overindulgence brings balance to an overly serious world. (It's no surprise then that Twelfth Night was probably written for a London winter carnival season.) A subtle and wickedly funny plot, with a thoroughly satisfying ending.

Opportunities are scarce for a single, "colored" woman but her skills and discretion are much in demand and Esther manages to put aside money in the hopes of someday opening her own beauty parlor.
