Wheat Ridge couple celebrates 65 years

Frank ( Jimmy) and Dorothy Petticrew, of Wheat Ridge, celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary at the Arbor House on Sept. 17. The event was hosted by their children: Dianne ( James) Keil, of Cotopaxi, Luanne ( Lowell) Marner, of Arvada, and David ( Sue) Petticrew, of Arvada.

Jimmy and Dorothy were married in Denver on Sept. 21, 1941. Jim graduated from Golden High School and Dorothy graduated from Lakewood High School. They are still living in theirhome in Wheat Ridge, where they have lived most of these 65 years. Celebrating with them were their eight grandchildren and spouses and 12 great-grandchildren. Also in attendance were about 35 other relatives and friends.
