Upon arrival, officers witnessed a man lying on the curb with his legs extended into the traffic lane. The 58-year-old Denver resident had an open Keystone Light in a paper bag next to him. Police woke the man and asked him if he had been walking around drinking, to which the man responded, "More or less, yes." The man was arrested and given a summons for possession of alcohol in a public place.

She stated that he shoved her up against the wall and punched her right bicep with a closed fist. Officers witnessed a visible red mark on the female's arm and placed the male into custody, to which he remarked, "It is just like her to make up a story to get me into trouble.
