Dream Dinners - Wheat Ridge sponsors fundraiser for local family

Wheat Ridge, CO - November 3, 2009: Dream Dinners®, originator of the meal-assembly business, Wheat Ridge location, is reaching out to the Bushehri family of Arvada by donating $200 worth of dinners from their "Nurture Your Neighbor" program.

The "Nurture Your Neighbor" program was designed to bring the community together to help local families in need. The program helps by providing families with healthy, home cooked meals during times of crisis.

Mary Bushehri and her husband Reza have been married for nearly 35 years. They have 2 sons, and have worked hard all of their lives. Reza and Mary thought that they would be spending this part of their lives relaxing and enjoying each other's company. Instead, they are struggling to survive. Eighteen months ago, Reza was diagnosed with cancer. Mary suffers from Dystonia, an anoxia brain injury along with congestive heart failure. Between the hospital bills and the high cost of medication, very little is left for what we all take for granted, food and shelter.

"I know that Mary has gone without food to make sure her husband and sons eat", says Mary's friend Francie. "No matter how prepared you are, so much hitting one family at once is just too much. They definitely need our help."

If you are interested in helping the Bushehri family, you can donate meals, or you can donate your time by volunteering to help make the meals at the Wheat Ridge location on November 21st. For more information on how you can contribute, contact the Dream Dinners Wheat Ridge store at 303-432-3110.
