McGranahan for Council Launches Web Site
Contributed by: Jill McGranahan on 6/7/2007

McGranahan for Council has launched a new Web site, www.mcgranahanforcouncil.org, in support of Jill McGranahan's bid for the Wheat Ridge, District I council seat.

"I wanted a place where voters could go to read more about me, my campaign and most importantly, my vision for Wheat Ridge and how I want to work with the city and its citizens to move Wheat Ridge forward," said Jill McGranahan.

The Web site includes an "Endorse or Contact Page", where voters can ask questions of the candidate. "As my neighbors ask questions, I plan on answering them both personally and on the Web site. My hope is to create as communicative and open forum for working with the voters," McGranahan said.

In addition to economic development, sustainable neighborhoods and infrastructure improvements, McGranahan lists citizen communications and involvement as one of her major platform issues. She states this is just the first of many steps to make sure that it is a reality.

Voters and supporters can also contribute to her campaign directly through the Web site. The site states her fundraising goal as $5,000. "I believe this is an attainable amount that will help me to reach out to everyone in the District and throughout the community."

Wheat Ridge city elections will take place on November 1, 2007 with ballots being mailed on October 10, 2007.
