MARK YOUR CALENDARS! UPCOMING OPPORTUNITIES TO PROVIDE

PUBLIC INPUT ON THE 2008 CITY OF WHEAT RIDGE BUDGET

Wheat Ridge, Colorado-Citizens of Wheat Ridge are invited to attend two upcoming meetings on the 2008 Budget. On Monday, June 25, 2007 and Monday, July 23, 2007, citizens are invited to share their comments, concerns, or budget requests with City Council for the upcoming budget. Both opportunities for input will be held during Regular City Council meetings. Meetings begin at 7 p.m. at Wheat Ridge City Hall located at 7500 W. 29th Avenue.

Following public input, the City will begin work on the development of the 2008 Budget. A public hearing is scheduled for October 8, 2007, prior to adoption of the proposed 2008 Budget by City Council scheduled for Monday, October 22, 2007. Citizens will have an opportunity to provide additional input at these meetings.

"The City of Wheat Ridge adopts the annual budget which serves as a roadmap for providing programs and services for the year ahead to the citizens of Wheat Ridge," said Patrick Goff, Deputy City Manager. "All citizens are invited to participate in these opportunities for input."
