CABELA'S TO HOST OPEN HOUSE ON I-70 & 32ND AVENUE AREA ROADWAY IMPROVEMENTS
WHAT:
The public is invited to attend an informational open house to receive an update on the current design status of roadway and trail improvements, aesthetic treatments associated with the EA, view graphic displays, talk one-on-one with project team members, and submit written comments to be reviewed during final design by the Project Team. The Project Team will deliver brief presentations outlining the overall approach moving forward.
The graphic display area will showcase current design concepts, including I-70 and SH-58; the 40th Avenue underpass at I-70; 32nd Avenue and Youngfield Street Area Improvements; Cabela Drive and Pedestrian Trails.
WHY:
The Project Team which is comprised of Cabela's, Coors and The City of Wheat Ridge along with numerous design and management consultants, has worked diligently over the past several months on the planning of the I-70 and 32nd Avenue interchange improvements.
Working with an approved Environmental Assessment plan, the design has progressed substantially through the numerous agency reviews and approvals. With this planning/design phase nearly complete construction will be starting soon on many of the roadway improvement projects associated with the I-70 and 32nd Avenue Interchange.
