Contributed by: Charmaine Robledo/YourHub.com on 6/23/2008

About 50 area residents spent a sunny morning learning about Chinese medicine and health and practicing how to do Tai Chi at the Wheat Ridge Senior and Community Center on June 21. Joe Brady from the Tai Chi Institute spoke about the benefits of preventative measures for overall well-being. According to MayoClinic.com, Tai Chi is a self-paced system of gentle physical exercise and stretching. The focus is on breathing and control of your body movements.
