29th Avenue residents enjoy party from WR2020

On August 26, residents of 29th Avenue between Pierce and Upham enjoyed getting to know one another through a Wheat Ridge2020-sponsored block party.

Approximatley 20 neighbors participated in the day-long event, held in a home located at 29th & Quay street. Although the weather opted not to cooperate -- it rained throughout the day -- the festivities were moved into the garage and a great time was had by everyone. A special thank you to Mayor Jerry DiTullio for visiting and meeting with the neighbors.

The Wheat Ridge 2020 Neighborhood Block Party Program isdesigned to help build strong neighborhoods through relationship development in our neighborhoods. It is shown that strong neighborhoodsenjoy more positive real estate, business, and community growth. The Neighborhood Block Party Programis also geared to help develop future leadership and community active residents.
