I am back in the game

Dear YourHub,

My name is Richard G. Kasson III and I am 14 1/2 years old. I live with my family in Wheat Ridge and will be attending Wheat Ridge High School this fall. I have cerebal palsy and am in a wheelchair. I have lived in Wheat Ridge most of my life. Last summer was a real drag for me because I moved back here to Colorado from New Mexico and three weeks later I had my third hip surgery. Folllowing that I was in a body cast for six weeks. I was home schooled last year. I really missed attending eighth grade with my friends.

Now, I am back in the game, ready to step up to the plate and do everything I possibly can this summer! I am an avid Rockies fan. I always wondered how "Dinger" got his name and what is means. This would be the best summer ever if I could take my family, friends and everyone who helped me this past year to a great day at the ballpark for a whole heap of fun!
