Jefferson County Sheriff's Office
MAN SUSPECTED OF TRESPASSING
Jefferson County Sheriff's deputies were sent to Regenerative Solutions, 5935 S. Zang St. No. 260 in Littleton at 6:59 p.m. May 15 on a report of a trespassing. One of the deputies spoke to the 47-year-old business owner who told the deputy that she was the co-owner of Colorado Osteopathic and Sports Medicine with her 37-year-old brother since 2004. The woman said she owned 70 percent of the company and her brother owned 30 percent. The siblings had met with the sister's lawyer on April 29 and the sister and her attorney told the brother he was no longer part of the company. The brother stormed out of the meeting and his sister said she sent him e-mail later in the day stating he was no longer welcome in the business. The sister also changed the lock on the front door and changed the name of the business to Regenerative Solutions. The brother hired an attorney and gained access to the business to retrieve some personal items on May 2. The receptionist at the business told the deputy the brother came back to the business just before closing on May 15 and demanded that his sister give him his phone back. The receptionist said she "felt threatened by his energy," ran to the back of the office, locked the door and called 911. The man shouted for his sister a few times and left the area a short time later. The deputies determined no crime had been committed and that the siblings' dispute was a civil matter.
ARSON AT CLEMENT PARK
A Jefferson County Sheriff's deputy responded to a report of arson at 11:35 p.m. on May 16 at Clement Park, 7306 W. Bowles Ave. in Littleton. When the deputy arrived, he spoke to the Littleton Fire Department captain who told him that a trash can and a tabletop had been set on fire. The captain also told the deputy that someone had tried to set fire to another trash can nearby, but it did not accelerate. Firemen put out the two fires. Sheriff's deputies had no suspects at the time of the report.
