Vol 40- This Week's Question for Ask Coach Earl
Contributed by: Earl Kemper   on 7/5/2007

July 12 th, 2007

This week's selected question:

Q: I recently became more aware of my expenses and some of the waste that multiplies them. How can I better manage how things get done without my doing them?

A: Great question! In our "6 Steps" approach, we first look at ways to create MASTERY in the business. By MASTERY, I simply mean that the 'things' that get done, get done in the similar manner, become documented and have an opportunity to improve. The areas of MASTERY are many, but we focus on those things that may adversely impact your bottom line. We look at your financials, production and delivery and the management of your major resources; Time, Team and Money. To find out more on how to create MASTERY, I highly recommend that you register for the next "6 Steps" workshop coming up on July 24 th and again on the 27 th at Webster University.

Step 1 in the "6 Steps" is MASTERY . By creating greater MASTERY of the important parts of the business, you work towards eliminating chaos and gain more control. The 'waste' you speak of is minimized along with its impact on profitability. As you can imagine, the more you and your team gain control over what's happening and increase consistency and quality, profitability will increase. As profitability increases, you can invest more in areas that grow the top-line revenue and grow your MASTERY business.

MASTERY is one of the cornerstones of my ActionCOACH programs. Successfully creating MASTERY enables the other 5 steps resulting in exponential growth and maturity. As the business matures you gain greater freedom to do what you want to do when you want to do it!

Discover what the "6 Steps" approach could mean for your business. Go to our website www.Go2Coaches.com , click on EVENTS and register for the next "6 Steps" workshop in July. You can also call (720) 981-0926 to register. I'll see you there!
