Thank you for taking the time to read this!
My intentions with this BLOG as humble as they may be are to raise awareness to the disease, ALS and to make a donation to a specific person fighting the disease. I'd like to introduce you to a very brave man below, so keep reading.
If my BLOG receives over 2,000 hits, it will be entered into the drawing to win up to $250. If I win, i will match the amount i win and donate it to ALS.
Hits must occur in March ONLY!
THIS WON'T BE POSSIBLE WITHOUT YOUR HELP!
I will match the amount I win and donate it to an amazing ALS cause, specifically,
http://www.brightsideoftheroad.org.
Here you will meet Barry Winovich and his family. As you may or may not know, my father, Daniel S. Lyne died from ALS about 8 years ago. So, this disease is very close to my heart.
I see this as GREAT way to educate people about this disease. For those of you who don't know what it is, Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), often referred to as "Lou Gehrig's disease," is a progressive neurodegenerative disease that affects nerve cells in the brain and the spinal cord. With voluntary muscle action progressively affected, patients in the later stages of the disease may become totally paralyzed.
Again, forward my BLOG to everyone you know!
The more hits I get, the better chance I have to WINNING and Making the donation! Feel free to make your own donations at Barry's site!
God Bless!
