Attack Ad on Amy Conklin, Littleton City Council
Contributed by: Jeff May   on 10/25/2007

We are writing to express our disgust and disappointment at the latest personal attack on Amy Conklin, at-large candidate for Littleton City Council. We resent that flyers distributed door-to-door blatantly distort Amy's record. We are dismayed that Littleton politics have sunk to a new low.

We have worked with Amy for several years, and are impressed with how she listens to citizen concerns and keeps citizens informed about what is happening in the city. This attack is clearly unfounded and unwarranted.

We hope that all candidates running against Amy repudiate this smear campaign. And we ask that the voters please join us in re-electing Amy Conklin, who has proven to be a tireless and dedicated public servant working for the greater good of Littleton.

Sincerely,
Karen Anne Crossen & Jeffrey A. May

Not sure where else to ask this...but does anyone have any information on where the candidates stand on environmental issues? I would like to vote for the "greenest" candidate possible.

All the ad does is truthfully review her record on council and the contributors to her campaign--where is the smear? A little openness and honesty is what the city has been needing.
