Torn on the Cobb?
So the Denver Broncos brought in Cedric Cobbs, again. T-Henry and Mikey BeLL go down with injures. Adrian Hall is injured. In comes Cedric the Entertainer. Last year at this time, the coaches expressed how LUCKY they were to grab Cobbs. We were told how he is immensely talented, and was a victim of the numbers game. It was korny. An injury kept him from performing for the New England Patsies, so they let him go. After being told how talented this guy is, I blinked, he was gone.
Listening to and reading everything-training-camp, I hear that
Selvin Young and
Andre Hall both show some
great strengths.
Cecil Sapp is in a battle with
Mike Bell to become the back-up to
T-Henry. Being this close to the start of the season, I just dont see why the
Broncos needed to bring in yet another running back. There's only one ball, and Sapp, Hall, Young, and Bell are all fighting for a roster spot.
Another running back Mike? How about, ohhhh, I dont know, a
Defensive Lineman that has
actually played a game in the last 100 weeks? How about
Jeremiah Trotter? This Defense looks
absolutely horrible. After being built up as potentially
VERY good, with the new additions like
Sam Adams (
washed up), the
Jimmy Kennedy experiment (cant crack the starting line-up), and a host of new coaches and a great new scheme (looks the same, doesn't it?).
Bill Clinton once told
George Bush sr......"It's the
ECONOMY, stupid!"
Well Mike, myself being an
NFL Expert, and yourself
clearly in need of help, my advice to you is......."It's the
DEFENSE! stupid!"
