Blog Entry 7 of 7 It's A Dog's Life
Do what you love and the rest is easy. My parents told me that. I am living it. I am doing what I love.

Update on doggie delights
Contributed by: Marcia Siegel   on 9/14/2007

I was enthusiastic about being in the home made dog biscuit baking business. I actually found the baking relaxing and pleasant. I really did not view it as work.

I know my biscuits are tasty, nutritious and appealing. However, what I did learn is that buying dog biscuits for your dog is an impulse purchase. I had a suspicion about that. For me it is not an impulse purchase. I am a planner.

I will buy on impulse if it s a gift for someone. For myself I made too many mistakes buying on impulse. I have pink furry shoes that I thought were just adorable that I bought on impulse. I rarely wear them. Also the pleather dance outfit. Not comfortable nor really wearable. Pleather does not breath nor move. Then there is my Marilyn Monroe purse. Love it but it does not hold much.

So you can see that for me impulse buying is not something I will be engaging in.

Which leads me to my dog biscuit business. My conclusion is that retail is not the way to go. I will try the wholesale route. Wholesale is a ltttle easier. No tax collection and no tax paperwork.

However, if you want to buy some home made dog biscuits I will bake them up for you. Dogs really do love them. I use all natural ingredients. They are tasty and nutritious.
